WHO WE ARE: We are the area’s most popular martial arts self defense school. Our instructors are members of the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Host of Radio and TV Shows, and writers for World Martial Arts Magazine. We currently offer classes in Apopka, Clermont, and Orlando, Florida.

WHAT WE TEACH: It seems that most of American refers to any martial arts simply as Karate. Originally Karate was a Japanese word representing the striking and kicking martial arts of Japan. Around the world it is more commonly used as a generic term for the striking arts of all countries. Karate may be defined as a weaponless or empty hands means of self defense. It consists of dynamic offensive and defensive techniques using all parts of the body to their maximum advantage. In our school we offer classes in Taekwondo, TangSooDo Korean Karate, Hapkido Korean Jujitsu and Tai Chi Fitness.

WHY LEARN MARTIAL ARTS: In our everyday lives we often forget the value of exercise to both our physical and mental health. The practice of martial arts tones the body, develops coordination, quickens reflexes, and builds stamina.  Also, the serious practice of martial arts develops composure, a clearer thought process, deeper insight into one’s mental capabilities, and more self-confidence. In this, martial arts is not an end, but a means to an end. It is an activity in which advancing age is not a hindrance. Rather it encourages proficiency in the keen coordination of mind and body.

MARTIAL ARTS AS SELF DEFENSE: Martial arts is one of the most dynamic of all the self defense methods. A trained martial artist is able to coordinate mind and body perfectly, thereby allowing the unleashing of tremendous physical power at will. Therefore, it is not the possession of great physical strength that makes a strong martial artist; rather it is the ability to coordinate mind and body. Upon developing this ability, even the smallest person finds that he or she has within himself or herself the power to deliver a devastating blow to any would-be attacker.
